STAMP Mumbai Launch

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority partners with World Resources Institute India and Toyota Mobility Foundation, Mumbai Metro One Private Ltd., Maharashtra State Innovation Society, Mumbai Rail Vikas Corporation Limited, Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and Mumbai Traffic Police to improve crowd management and last-mile connectivity to Mumbai Metro.

The 4th edition of Station Access and Mobility Program looks to document and develop strategies in crowd management, last-mile solutions for existing and upcoming metro projects in Mumbai to make commute accessible and safe.

As part of the initiative, a challenge will seek data and technology-driven solutions from entrepreneurs, citizens’ groups, professionals and students to better understand and apply information to help address commuting and accessibility challenges faced by metro users in Mumbai.

Join us for the launch of STAMP 2019 and a discussion on ‘How Metro is poised to metamorphize mobility in Mumbai and what would be key aspects to enable this transformation’.
