Financing Transit Oriented Development (TOD) in Indian Cities - Challenges and Opportunities

On February 18, 2016 WRI India organized a day long workshop on “Financing TOD in Indian Cities – Challenges and Opportunities”, co-hosted by Citi Foundation and C40. The workshop was targeted at Field experts, City officials, Financers, Banks, Developers, Transport providers and operators, and capital providers who are in process of adopting the strategy of Transit Oriented Development. The intention of the workshop was to build knowledge & share amongst stakeholders possible ways forward for TOD Financing in the Indian context.
