Roshni Thomas

Project Associate - Institutional Development


Roshni is a Project Associate for WRI’s Development Team in India. She assists the Strategy Head (Institutional Development) in a variety of ways including managing prospect research reports, and assisting in the editing and preparation of proposals and concept notes.

Prior to joining WRI, Roshni interned at LÓreal, Pune and the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Department, where she carried out Energy Mapping of the plant, and an analysis of Transportable Waste. She also worked as a Digital Media Strategist for an American product development and services company, where she co-ordinated fundraising activities for foundations of celebrity athletes, and handled their online presence.

She holds a post-graduate degree of an MBA in Energy and Environment from Symbiosis Institute of International Business, and a graduate degree in Computer Engineering from Pune University.

Roshni is a classical pianist and completed her Performer’s Certificate Examination from Trinity College, London in 2008. She has received national level recognitions from Zubin Mehta’s Foundation (Mehli Mehta Music Foundation) and Trinity College. She enjoys singing, reading, basketball, improvisation comedies, and watching period films.
