This project seeks to enhance civil society capacity to engage with electricity sector decision makers on decisions pertaining to investment priorities, resource mix, and pricing of electricity. Since the workings of policymaking, planning, and regulatory institutions are often complex, we propose to share EGI tools with civil society partners to document and address the lack of transparency around these processes and the inefficiencies, short-term gains, and suboptimal decisions that result
